About Jobsking

Jobsking helps you move forward in your work life: what a job involves and pays, how to apply, and what step to take next. We build the site for job seekers, for people thinking about a career change, and for anyone who wants a clearer picture of what is happening in the job market.

What you'll find here

For every job, you'll see what the work involves, what it pays, which education fits, and how you can move up. You'll also find hundreds of cover letter examples by industry, guidance on your resume, and articles on applying for jobs, pay, and careers. Jobsking is published in the Netherlands, Belgium, and the United States, each with its own figures and its own education paths.

How we work

Every job page starts from a fixed set of data on tasks, education, licenses, and pay. US pay and job figures come from official government wage and employment statistics. For the Netherlands, pay figures are estimates based on collective labor agreement scales and the amounts listed in job postings. We use software and AI to process that data and draft the text. Every page then goes through a fixed set of checks, including the numbers and any claims that don't come from the data. When new figures come out or the rules change, we update the page.

Who writes for us

Jobsking is a small, independent editorial team. Our articles are published under regular bylines, such as Megan Brooks and Daniel Reyes. Each name stands for its own area of expertise and its own style, so you know what to expect. We also publish contributions from guest authors: recruiters, HR professionals, educators, and people with a story from the field.

Guest authors and partners

Want to write something yourself, or do you work for an organization that can help our readers? We work with guest authors, brands, and agencies on articles and partner content. Our Write for us page explains how it works.
